The Ncase Portable Safe offers serious mobile security for laptops, notebook and tablet computers, hand guns, electronic equipment, important documents and other valuables when they are used, carried or stored in any location which is not otherwise secure.

The Ncase is pressed from 2 sheets of aircraft quality aluminum with a double-wide full length "piano"hinge and 2 new heavy duty combination locks. The case is 18" wide, 13" deep and 4" thick to accommodate the largest laptops. It weighs 5 lbs; the cable is 1 lb.

The case is light enough to carry with you or keep it in a particularly useful location. It is easily secured almost anywhere with its detachable 5 ' long high security cable made from sturdy 3/8 inch steel “aircraft” cable inside a vinyl tube. A steel hitch pin locks the cable.

Its sturdy aluminum shell and heavy duty locks, hinge and cable offer excellent protection against theft and loss. The well-padded interior, padded dividers and Velcro tie down offer excellent protection against physical damage - real protection when and where you want it.

PRODUCT FEATURES

Sturdy pressed aluminum case 18 x 13 x 4 inches with 2 combination “Lip Locks”.
2 secure locks. Each has 3 combination wheels and 4 inches of locking surface.
Detachable steel security cable - 5' long, 3/8" thick, covered with a clear vinyl tube.
Fully padded interior: 2 document folders, velcro strap, adjustable padded dividers.
Double-wide full length hinge with 4 rows of rivets for maximum security & strength.
Cable end slips easily into a hole in the left side & is quickly locked with a hitch pin.
Steel hitch pin to secure the cable to the case. Includes 1 extra hitch pin for a spare.
Padded velcro-tipped divider protects case contents from the cable end and hitch pin
Rubber plug fills the cable hole from the inside when the cable is not in use.
4 "feet” on the rear are mounted on both the hinge and the case for added strength.
Natural finish looks and hides scratches better than cases with a coated surface.
Ergonomically designed handle reduces fatigue and makes the case easier to carry.
Padded shoulder strap with chrome hardware eases hand and wrist fatigue.
2 folding hooks on the sides to attach the shoulder strap.
Groove for entry of charging cable in the bottom rear lip on the left side of the hinge.
Machined edge on the top and bottom lips act as a barrier to moisture and dust.

SECURING YOUR PORTABLE SAFE: The 5 foot long steel cable can be looped around or through sturdy objects anywhere, and then secured to the case in seconds with a simple steel hitch pin. All vehicles offer steel structures which allow the Portable Safe to be secured where you want it. Steel seat frames usually work well.
UNDERSTANDING THIEVES: Most thefts of laptops and hand guns are planned by someone who sees the owner leave it unattended in an easily accessible location. Laptops and handguns which are routinely left unattended in vehicles are especially vulnerable to thieves who wait, easily break into the vehicle and steal the contents.
DETERRING THEFT: It is unlikely that a thief will be able to open or remove a locked Ncase which is properly secured with the cable. Only a suicidal thief would risk jail by trying to open or remove one or break into anything secured with one.

AIRLINE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WARNING:

Your Portable Safe is an excellent travel companion. It is most useful when you are away from secure surroundings. You will want to carry it with you on the plane when you fly.

Aluminum cases are smooth and slippery. They must be stored securely in aircraft overhead luggage compartments, or they can fall out when the compartment opens.
Put your Ncase on the floor of the compartment. The lip will keep it from falling out.
An aluminum case on top of other baggage may fall out of the luggage compartment
Never put aluminum cases on top of other aluminum cases. The top one will fall out.
Airlines can be rough on checked bags. We suggest you carry your Ncase with you.
